OFFICE RELOCATION | CENTRAL LONDON

Moving two separate companies into one Central London location and organising the archiving of several thousand medical records to Asia could be a logistical nightmare but with careful preparation and planning the disruption can be minimised.  CID were employed by a major pharmaceutical company to assist with their relocation and were delighted how smoothly things went.

 

CID attended weekly team meetings with the steering committee and ensured that everyone involved met their dead-lines and that nothing was over-looked. We arranged the physical relocation of furniture and personal belongings on the weekend of the move but our level of involvement encompassed even the smallest details

Inventory of existing furniture, archives, storage etc.

 

Disposal of unwanted items, recycling where possible and donating unwanted furniture to local charities.

 

Notification to all stake-holders, clients, suppliers and utility companies of the relocation and mail/telephone re-direction.

 

Planning of IT and communications infrastructure.

 

Seating plan for the new office for 100+ staff.

 

Welfare facilities for the new premises and deals with local hotels, cab companies, childcare facilities and fitness centres.

 

Provision of crates for personal belongings and labour to assist with hanging of notice boards, pictures, un-packing and moving furniture. Obtaining air and sea freight costs for archived materials.

 

Relocation of vending and photocopying equipment.

 

Signage and plants for the new premises.
