The O2 | Greenwich
Following on from our work at City Place, Gatwick we were given the opportunity to design Nestle’s private suite at the O2 arena. Nestle have held a private box since the arena opened its doors in 2007. We were thrilled to have been approached to complete a full refurbishment of the suite in such an iconic venue.
The Design
The initial brief from our client focused our design on some of the key elements that Nestle wanted to incorporate into the final look of the suite. Having taken inspiration from some of the other refurbished and redesigned suites at the O2 we ascertained that they wanted to combine both aesthetic elements to make the suite a fun and vibrant venue to spend time in as well as practical elements. It was important, for example, that the finishes were hard wearing due to the high volume usage and that there was plenty of seating and space available for guests. As the suite overlooks the stage there were also restrictions on the design to avoid any glare illuminated from the suite during performances. Mirrors and high shine finishes, therefore, were limited.
